Mainly because this provides a documented report of your accident to your insurance companies to review. Without this report, your accident could become a he said/she said situation. Next of all, since we all have smart phones, take out your phone and take a picture of four different things.
- The other person’s insurance card
- The other person’s driver’s license
- Any damage that occurred to not only your car, but the other car(s) as well
- The other person’s driver’s tag
