The question is, should you take out rental car insurance when you rent a car? There are several options for you here. Your comprehensive and collision insurance would cover the physical damage on the rental car so you wouldn't really need that. The one coverage that is not covered on your personal auto policy is the loss of use if you got in a wreck and totaled your car. So that might be a coverage that would want to do. The other one, the liability would extend from your personal auto policy to the rental car, so that one you might not need. If you have any more questions, just call our office.
